After teaching English at the K-12 and community college levels in Texas for the past 14 years, I am currently the Digital Instruction Librarian at the JKM Library in Chicago, Illinois. My goal in this position is to provide instructional technology and pedagogical support to the faculty and students at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and McCormick Theological Seminary.

As a visual learner, I love implementing the use of technology to help students understand difficult concepts. Visuals, such as photographs, paintings, videos, and online pedagogical tools, such as games, study guides, digital repositories, even memes, etc. help learners remember and apply information.
